Once you have a polished submission-ready manuscript you need to spend time exploring potential publishers or agents depending on your goals. Each publisher and agent has different guidelines so be sure to review all the guidelines and follow them carefully.

I'm a nursing professor and writer. I have published 3 nursing books, 2 picture books, a chapter book, 2 middle-grade books, an activity book, and a self-care book. My new middle-grade "Hannah and the Hobgoblins" will be released in January 2021. And "Dale Earnhardt: Destined to Race" what I wrote with my co-author R.S. Murphy will also be released in January.
