I’m a doctoral prepared nursing professor and dean and a published author of award-winning children’s books, short stories, articles, nursing books, and a self-help book that I wrote with my daughter. I am represented by Cindy Bullard at Birch Literary Agency. My nursing books have been published by Springer Publishers and my children’s books have been published by Clear Fork Press, Penit Publications, and Touch Point Press.

I have always loved books and started my journey as a writer when I was in elementary school. Throughout the years I have learned important things about writing, publishing, and book promotion and I hope to inspire others as I share my books, tips, and experiences as a published author. The three main things that have enabled me to accomplish my goals and realize my dreams are perseverance, persistence, and prayer. The path may be smooth or full of twists and turns but if you believe in yourself and stay the course eventually you will be successful.
