Ghosts and goblins seem to fly through the night
Among vampires who are quite a scary sight
Skeletons with loud moans and creaky bones
Join green-faced witches with pointy cones
Glowing Jack-o-lanterns of every size
May win someone a really cool prize
Children knock on doors and shout trick or treat
Please oh please give us something good to eat
A big full moon makes this a perfect night
To have lots of fun and a bit of fright
Tasty treats or tricks for one and all
This is surely the best night of the fall
